June Cornbury Dinner meeting – what happened?

Where was everybody??

I was the only sole person at the Cornbury dinner meeting last night and I am thankful I did as I met up with Ernie with his friend for support, a potential new member for our group who is looking for social interaction with other cross dressers.

Ernie was supposed to have met with way back in October but wasn’t able to until last night. these are the reasons we keep these meeting open and available each and every month.

May Dinner Meeting! (Important)

The may Dinner meeting will still be schedules but the build of the membership will be in Esprit that week so I think we can do the dinner Social Instead May 28th at the Pacific Inn. I dont think there will be many attendees Tues May14th so Look for good time May 28th instead!

I haven”t forgotton about anyone!!

I am so monumentally busy with so much stuff both personal and professional. I am looking forward to the AGM in April but with Esprit planning, keeping up with my full time job, I am a mental basket case. doing all this stuff is teaching me good coping skills. I am hoping to see more member moving forward, step up to the plate and help out some more in the coming year.

April AGM is coming up this April

Hello Ladies!!

I cant believe its been 10 months since I stepped into Jacqueline’s Shoes at the Cornbury Society, and I must admit they are awfully large shoes to fill. I honest;y do believe that our group is stronger today that it was 10 months ago, progress has been slow but there has been progress.

A Reminder about cornbury Dues

for all those members who haven’t paid their dues yet please do this year,

I would like to see most the membership dues paid up by the end of February. the reason for this is it makes it a hell of a lot easier to plan through out the remainder of the year.

This year I am hope to implement some of the changes I have been talking about last year , but it will take a little bit of funding to make it happen. I am also looking into other places and venues that would be comfortable for member to come out and participate more. possibly with a second monthly event.

Merry Christmas to all the Cornbury Gals!

I would like to take this time to wish all the ladies of Cornbury a Wonderful Christmas and New Year. I look forward to the coming year. I hope to keep some of the momentum I built up over the year I am still working on plans to get Cornbury to expand and grow.

HUGS to Everyone!!

Our Cornbury Dinner meeting For Nov 13 and some thoughts for the Cornbury Girls to ponder.

Hugz everyone,

it was a small gathering this evening, Joy, Gail Jennifer and myself. it was a good chance to catch with each other enjoy a little time to discuss our lives.

Joy is is always the lady and Gail is doing well, the move for her to her new place has been good to her. Jennifer amazes me still that she makes her way down to Newton From New west every month. She enjoys her time to get out.

Bill C-279 passes second reading! GOOD news but still a ways to go yet!

Bill C-279 passes second reading!

Bill C-279 has passed its first vote in the House of Commons. It now goes to the Justice Committee for amendments before a final vote in the House.

This bill would add “gender identity and gender expression” to our federal human rights protections and to our hate crime legislation. Unfortunately, the bill’s sponsor has suggested that “gender expression” might be dropped in the final version to address concerns that the term is not well defined.
