The text below was presented to a group of attendees at the 2002 Esprit Gala. It was designed not just to share one person’s experiences but also to provide some structure for discussion after the presentation. The umbrella designation is entitled “Birds of a Feather.” The organizers permit anyone who wishes, to present a relevant topic to the delegates and the event is posted on a notice board informing people of the offering. It is held at the conclusion of the regular offerings that end at 4:00PM. Eight persons were in attendance.
This hits very close to home, I am going through the late 30s and am married with a child and realizing I have wanted to cross dress. This story and the feelings associated hit so close to home right now.
