Just thought I’d post a note about our latest dinner.
Outside of possibly Christmas, this was our largest group and it was lots of fun. We had 12 girls and two with their SOs.
I must remember to make an effort to talk to the girls that are at the other end of the table. Having one long table is not much different than having a bunch of small tables – it is still hard to talk to everyone.
Could we have a mixer before? That is, instead of sitting down, stand up and talk with others as you might do at a cocktail party. Of course this doesn’t work too well if some can’t get there early and those that do come early have nothing to do until someone else comes.
