Just a quick note to let everyone know that we had 6 girls show up and we all had a fine time.
Diane came over from Victoria which I think was really swell of her given the ferry costs.
Bonnie brought her wife, Darlyne
And, of course, the stand by’s – Sharon, Sandra and me.
We had chosen, by accident, a round table which sat 6 very comfortably and it would appear that this is an ideal table size as it allowed everyone to talk to and hear everyone else.
It was a nice sunny day which did impact on our comfort as the ceiling above is all glass and we did have to move a bit to keep out of the sun.
Refreshments from 4:30 to 5:45 and then quick ordering of dinner to get in before the 6pm end-of-happy hour. The happy hour meals are $7.95 and while not as large as the regular menu, seem to fill the tummy OK.
