Earlobe

The earlobe is a crucial area. Earlobes vary widely in shape and earrings fit closely and emphasize this area. Cover and soften a long earlobe with a button earring. An average lobe can handle almost any type earring except overwhelmingly large buttons.

Proportional sizes are most complementary. A small lobe or one attached directly to the head is best covered entirely with a shape which follows the direction of the ear and draws your attention upward.
