I would like to send my thanks to the site and the info on it. I have dressed in some form or another since I was about 10, I am now 40 and finally got the nerve to go out in public for the first time. After a few tries to find a make up artist (as I still can not do my own well enough to go out) I found a great one. So I picked out a nice top a black pencil skirt a pair of heels and had Tracy come do my make up. One and half hours late we put on my wig. For the first time I felt complete I no longer was a guy in a dress (well feeling like). After some lessons on how to fix anything the rest of the night and some earrings I was off. First step getting to the car let me tell you the first step out side very scary felt like turning around. But leaving at the same time as Tracy was good she walked with me to our cars and wished me all the best and I was off.
I headed into the west end as I needed some were to blend in. After parking the car the first steps I took on Davie street were almost overwhelming, but after a couple of deep breaths I calmed down. Not sure were to go I started to walk down Davie and to my surprise blended in for the most part. I then thought I need to get a coffee so into Starbucks. Again no issues sat down had my coffee and two girls asked to share my table. Was kinda cool just being one of the girls they ended up taking me to a club that they were on the way to (I wish I could remember the name but it was on Davie) what a blast. Danced for a couple of hours had great time said my good byes to them (and got numbers to meet up again) and head back to my car. That's when things got bad.
I was walking to my car when a group of guys I know very well came walking out of a restaurant (with their wives). To my surprise they did not notice me - one of them even stepped aside to let me by. This had always been one of my fears about going out, but I guess if you are not being looked for they do not see you. Any way I took the long way home to stay dressed a Little longer. This was one of the best days of my life and owe a big thanks to you and the rest of the girls on the site for giving me the courage to be me.
Thank you so much
